J-Term is once again returning to Occidental College! In the fourth edition of J-Term, students will continue to develop hard skills in either the computer programming or digital media tracks, attend lectures on entrepreneurial leadership, and be exposed to an array of entrepreneurs in the Los Angeles area that will help guide them towards their final project which will be pitched in front of a panel of entrepreneurial experts. This year, a website has been developed so that current participants and future participants may access resources that were not given before in previous J-Terms at Oxy. With a better social media presence, resources, and prizes, there will be even more opportunities for participants to succeed following the conclusion of J-Term.

Furthermore, the John Park Young Initiative, Hameetman Career Center, and Oxypreneurship [OXP], have joined their resources again to further the entrepreneurial spirit. With the re-launch of OXP's incubator, the above departments strive to provide the opportunities to succeed in a team-friendly environment. Now, ventures formed during J-Term will be able to see their projects grow long after J-Term is over. It is important that this is being emphasized because events like J-Term show the importance of a liberal arts degree where students of all backgrounds/majors can explore their educational pursuits. With all of this being said, J-Term is only the first step in a long journey as an entrepreneur!
